Salt must contact food to preserve and flavor. Light must shine where darkness exists. You cannot fulfill your calling by isolating from the world Jesus came to save.
The Key Thesis
Jesus did not come to establish a religion—He came to restore relationship. Religious Christianity creates walls; Kingdom Christianity builds bridges to the lost while maintaining biblical truth.
Religion vs. Kingdom Thinking
Religion Says:
- ✗Avoid sinners to stay pure
- ✗Judge the world from a distance
- ✗Change behavior first, then accept
- ✗Build walls to protect the righteous
- ✗The church is a fortress against culture
Kingdom Says:
- Go to where the lost are
- Enter the mess to bring light
- Accept first, then watch transformation
- Build bridges to reach the lost
- The church is salt and light within culture
